Home Security

WATCH  VIDEO

Home security systems are frequently advertised on television. While a home security system may seem a luxury, a poor economy can lead to increased burglaries in homes. In the U.S., burglaries occur once every fifteen seconds. Those who do not have home security systems are three times more likely to be burglarized. This is because most home security companies utilize signs near doors and on windows to show burglars that the home has an alarm system. Home security systems can also include flood and smoke detectors which give you added protection from these hazards. National companies such as ADT and Life Shield can provide round-the-clock protection, though smaller, local companies may give more comprehensive, personalized services.
